Big Bear Engagement
I have so much love for Big Bear Lake that I want to do all of my engagement sessions there! Surprisingly, this was my first time ever being there. I know I know, I live in SoCal but we didn’t travel around much when I was little. Ok, that’s not necessarily true. My family actually used to have an RV and we would road trip the US for a month at a time! It was so fun and I got to see so many different national parks and beautiful cities! I hope to do the same with my kiddos (once we can afford an RV)!
My Kinda People
Ashley & Haden wanted to do their engagement shoot at Big Bear because they love the mountains. Honestly, my ideal client! I LOVE the mountains! I was so excited for this new adventure and it did not disappoint. My wife and I loved it so much, in fact, that we convinced my in laws to vacation there with us next year! There are so many beautiful Airbnbs in Big Bear!!! I almost want to buy one for myself.
First… Burgers
We started out the day grabbing burgers and bear together at the best little burger stop. These two wanted to start their session by rereading old notes and letters they had written each other. Cutest idea EVER. Not enough people write letters anymore. I mean, I know there is no real need for it but it’s just the darn cutest thing in the world!
Perfect Socal Being Perfect
The perfect California sunshine made for the perfect lighting for their engagement session at Big Bear. But California sunshine practically never disappoints. The sunset over the lake was impeccable and I cannot wait to return. Thank you for this easy, perfect adventure you two.
