Blossom Valley Wedding

This beautiful Blossom Valley wedding was the perfect way to kick off my 2019 wedding season.

I met Valerie back in my Starbucks days and when she reached out to me about her wedding I was floored. This incredible couple was too good to me from the very beginning. We ventured off to Julian for their engagement session and stopped for pizza at my favorite pizza spot on the way home. It was definitely and evening I will never forget. Hanging out with them for half the day really just made me sure that their wedding day would be a breeze.

Childhood Home

Valerie told me that they were having their wedding at her childhood home in Blossom Valley because it was very sentimental to her. All of her sisters got married there as well! So why not follow in this incredible tradition? Blossom Valley is my favorite neighborhood in San Diego county so I knew their home would be absolutely incredible. My wife and I hope to own a home here someday. Nothing beats a lakeside view and having lots property!

Small World

Living in San Diego my whole life, sometimes I am so shocked to see people I know at the weddings I shoot. Turns out, Valerie used to work at Indian Hills Camp, which is run by people who went to my home church. It was definitely a shock to see some familiar faces from my past at this wedding.

Overwhelming Love

The moment I walked into the bridal suite, I could tell Val’s family was tight nit and it was just awesome. The amount of love this family had for each other was so obvious and I wanted to soak up every ounce of it. I knew exactly why they wanted to have their wedding here in Blossom Valley.

Straight out of a Movie

Their first look was just incredible! Daniel told me he knew he would be emotional and seeing his reaction, he was not wrong. I have never seen a groom this ecstatic to see his bride. We were all just beaming with joy!

Needless to say, the rest of the day was perfection. These two love on each other so well and they have so many incredible friends and family surrounding them with love. A backyard wedding in Blossom Valley sounds like something straight out of a movie and this wedding truly was.
